Zirconium 704
Comparing to Zirconium 702, Zirconium 704 (Zr704) contains 1.0-2.0% Tin (Sn), and higher Fe and Cr content from 0.2% to 0.4%. These differences can improve its strength, corrosion resistance performance and thermal conductivity of oxide passive layer, and reduce susceptibility of surface in different corrosion environments.
Zirconium 704 contains a small amount iron and chromium. This is similar to the zirconium alloys used in nuclear industry. In most chemical media, especially in high temperature, high pressure water and steam medium, Zirconium 704 exhibits more superior performance.
